What sessions cost, how insurance works, and what you may want to know before we begin.

Payment is due at the time of each session. All major credit cards and HSA cards are accepted.
Insurance & superbills
I’m not paneled with insurance, so sessions are private pay. That keeps your care between us. No diagnosis is required by an insurer, and no one outside this practice decides how often we meet or when we’re finished.
On request, I can provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Your plan’s “out-of-network outpatient mental health” benefits determine what they cover, so it’s worth calling your insurer to ask before we begin.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of what therapy will cost before we begin. I provide one in writing before your first session and any time you ask. Questions about it are welcome on our consultation call.
