Hi, I’m Jade.
Therapist. Practice owner. Wife. Mom. And someone who understands that the path to motherhood doesn’t always unfold the way we imagined.
Where this work began
My passion for supporting women and mothers began long before I became a mother myself.
Early in my career, much of my work centered around children and families.
Again and again, I found myself noticing the mothers in the background: the ones coordinating appointments, advocating, worrying, managing, and quietly carrying so much of the emotional weight of their families.
We were talking about how to support their children, but I kept wondering: Who was supporting them?
That question ultimately changed the direction of my work.
I pursued advanced training in perinatal and maternal mental health because I came to believe that caring for women is an essential part of caring for families.
Mothers deserve to be seen not only for what they provide to everyone around them, but as individuals with their own identities, relationships, needs, hopes, and experiences.
When it became personal
My own journey to motherhood included years of infertility, testing, egg retrievals, IVF transfers, uncertainty, disappointment, hope, and eventually, two beautiful daughters.
I entered those years as a therapist who felt well equipped to support other women through difficult things.
And yet, when I found myself on the other side of the couch, I learned how isolating the path to motherhood can be, even when you understand what is happening, even when you know the coping skills, and even when you have people around you who love you.
There is a difference between being surrounded and feeling truly understood.
That experience shaped not only the mother I became, but the therapist I am today.
How I work today
My work now focuses on supporting women through infertility and IVF, pregnancy and postpartum, motherhood, relationships, identity shifts, and the often complicated experience of trying to care for yourself while caring deeply for everyone around you.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded, with room for depth and none of the clinical distance.
People laugh in here. They say the thing they couldn’t say anywhere else, and they admit that a life they love is also, in places, incredibly hard.
Therapy can be the place where, for once, you aren’t the one holding everything. I’d be honored to sit with you there.
